PROGRAM FOCUS:
The Lifestyle & Wellness Over 50 is a comprehensive 8-week online course starting in March 2025. It is designed to help you make healthy lifestyle changes for optimal wellness in your 50s, 60s, 70s, and beyond. If you want to start adopting healthier habits but aren’t sure where to begin, this program is for you! Using an evidence-based curriculum, participants will develop practical skills to enhance their quality of life and achieve long-term wellness.
PROGRAM GOALS:
The goal of the Lifestyle & Wellness Over 50 program is for participants to:
Learn how to maintain a healthy weight as you age
Understand the fundamentals of healthy eating
Explore ideal grocery shopping strategies and meal planning ideas
Use the Plate Method as a guide for creating healthy, balanced meals
Learn ways to achieve 150 minutes of physical activity each week
Discover tools to help track meals and physical activity
Understand the core principles of caloric balance
Learn strategies to manage stress and build resilience
Discover ways to get support on your health journey
Cultivate healthy nighttime habits to improve sleep quality
Develop strategies to stay on track with new habits long-term
PROGRAM RESOURCES:
Each participant will receive materials designed to support the program goals, including a Participant Guide (200+ pages), an Action Plan Journal to track progress, and helpful handouts to reinforce key lessons throughout program.
