Introduction to Iyengar Yoga
With Leah DiQuollo
During this 2-hour workshop, we will explore the method of Iyengar Yoga developed by B.K.S. Iyengar. This method guides students along this eight-fold path in a way that is practical, experiential, and intensely personal. Using physical alignment as a starting point, Iyengar Yoga encourages the spread of intelligence throughout the body, the growth of self-awareness, and an experience of the asanas as a form of “meditation in action.” In this workshop, you are invited to explore the benefits of Iyengar yoga method through your own body.
